Your display might not support the requested resolution…”This has just started happening and I think it is some jonathanlewisforcongress.com driver conflict with Windows 10 updates. Can jonathanlewisforcongress.com help please? You are watching: The system has detected a link failure
Exactly same problem since the 1903 update.Running on Vega 64, i7 9700K.
I dont think it”s because of jonathanlewisforcongress.com, the problem occur only with 1903 May update. But it”s not a knowing problem by Microsoft ATM.https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-information/status-windows-10-1903
How are you connected and how long is your cable?Resolution, refresh rate, color depth, chroma subsampling?
1. Monitor connected on DP (1m50 cable)HTC Vive connected on HDMI (1m cable)2. My monitor is a 1080p 120hz on SRGB.
Display port, 6 foot2560x1440 10 bpp (dithered FRC on monitor) 60 HzThis was working fine until the latest jonathanlewisforcongress.com pro software update and windows 10 update. I cannot untangle which it is.I no longer get the error message, but the screen still goes black then back to normal when logging in
Can you please try the 19.Q2 driver instead of 19.Q2.1?If issue persists, send me the EDID of your monitor. See below how to save the EDID:
